Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Crownex products, services, website, application, payment features, digital asset services, virtual cards and related functionality.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you ("you", "your", or "User") and Crownex ("Crownex", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing, registering for, or using any Crownex service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and any additional terms, policies, notices, or guidelines applicable to specific Crownex services.

Please Read Carefully If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use Crownex Services.

2. Eligibility

You may use Crownex Services only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and satisfy all applicable eligibility requirements.

Crownex may impose additional eligibility requirements for specific products, transactions, locations, payment methods, digital asset services, or financial products.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Crownex Services complies with the laws applicable to you.

3. Account Registration

Certain Crownex Services require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and throughout your use of the Services.

You must not:

  • Create an account using false or misleading information.
  • Create an account for another person without authorization.
  • Maintain multiple accounts where prohibited.
  • Allow unauthorized individuals to access your account.
  • Use another person's identity or credentials.

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information.

4. Identity Verification and KYC

Crownex may require users to complete identity verification and Know Your Customer ("KYC") procedures before or during the use of certain Services.

You agree to provide information and documents that may be reasonably required to verify your identity, source of funds, account activity, or other information necessary for compliance purposes.

Crownex may refuse, delay, limit, or suspend Services where required information cannot be verified or where applicable legal or regulatory requirements are not met.

5. Crownex Services

Crownex provides a range of digital and financial technology services. Available Services may vary by jurisdiction, account type, product availability, and regulatory requirements.

Airtime & Data

Crownex may allow users to purchase airtime and mobile data through supported telecommunications providers.

Electricity

Crownex may facilitate electricity bill or token payments through supported service providers.

Cable TV

Crownex may facilitate payments for supported television and subscription providers.

Digital Assets

Crownex may provide supported cryptocurrency or digital asset functionality subject to applicable laws, restrictions, and third-party availability.

Virtual Cards

Crownex may provide virtual prepaid or payment card functionality subject to applicable card-provider terms and restrictions.

Other Services

Crownex may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue additional products and features from time to time.

6. Transactions and Payments

You authorize Crownex and its relevant service providers to process transactions that you initiate through your account.

Before confirming a transaction, you are responsible for reviewing the transaction details, including the amount, recipient, service, applicable fees, and other relevant information.

Once a transaction has been submitted or completed, it may not always be possible to reverse, cancel, or recover the transaction.

Transaction Accuracy You are responsible for entering correct payment, beneficiary, wallet, card, account, and service details. Crownex is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect information supplied by you, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

7. Digital Assets and Cryptocurrency

Where digital asset services are available, you acknowledge that cryptocurrency and other digital assets may involve significant financial and technological risks.

Digital asset prices may change rapidly and may result in partial or total loss of value.

  • Digital asset transactions may be irreversible.
  • Digital asset values may fluctuate substantially.
  • Blockchain networks may experience delays, congestion, failures, or unexpected changes.
  • Network fees may change without notice.
  • Crownex does not guarantee that a particular digital asset will retain its value.
  • Digital asset availability may vary by jurisdiction and regulatory requirements.
Risk Disclosure You should only use digital asset services after considering the risks involved and determining that they are appropriate for your circumstances.

8. Virtual Cards

Where available, Crownex may provide virtual cards or related payment functionality through third-party card networks, issuers, processors, or financial partners.

Virtual cards may be subject to transaction limits, merchant restrictions, geographic restrictions, security controls, expiration dates, fees, and additional terms imposed by the relevant card provider.

You must not use a Crownex virtual card for unlawful, fraudulent, prohibited, or unauthorized activities.

9. Fees and Charges

Certain Crownex Services may be subject to transaction fees, service charges, network fees, exchange-rate differences, card fees, or other applicable charges.

Applicable fees may be displayed before a transaction is completed or communicated through the relevant Service.

You authorize Crownex or its payment providers to deduct applicable fees from the relevant transaction or account balance where permitted.

10. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Crownex Services for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized activities.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Money laundering or terrorist financing.
  • Fraud, scams, or identity theft.
  • Using another person's account without authorization.
  • Circumventing identity verification or security controls.
  • Using Crownex to facilitate unlawful transactions.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Crownex systems.
  • Introducing malware, malicious code, or harmful software.
  • Manipulating or interfering with Crownex Services.
  • Using the Services in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

11. AML, CFT and Regulatory Compliance

Crownex may maintain procedures designed to comply with applicable anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, sanctions, fraud prevention, and financial crime requirements.

Crownex may monitor transactions and account activity and may request additional information or documentation where reasonably necessary.

Crownex may restrict, delay, reject, freeze, suspend, or terminate transactions or accounts where required or permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements, risk controls, or internal compliance procedures.

Additional requirements may apply to digital asset transactions and other regulated services.

12. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, passwords, authentication codes, devices, wallets, and other security information.

You must immediately notify Crownex if you believe that your account or security credentials have been compromised.

Crownex will not normally ask you to disclose your password, authentication codes, recovery phrases, or other sensitive security credentials through unofficial communication channels.

13. Account Suspension and Termination

Crownex may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to some or all Services where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • You provide inaccurate or misleading information.
  • Your activity creates security or financial risk.
  • Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected.
  • Required KYC or compliance checks cannot be completed.
  • Crownex is required to do so by law or regulation.
  • A third-party provider restricts the relevant Service.

Where legally permitted, Crownex may provide notice of suspension or termination. However, immediate action may be taken where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or financial crime prevention.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Crownex and its licensors own or control the intellectual property rights associated with Crownex websites, applications, branding, software, designs, content, logos, graphics, text, and other materials.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Crownex intellectual property without prior written authorization, except where permitted by law.

15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Crownex aims to provide reliable and secure Services but does not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crownex will not be responsible for losses arising from matters outside its reasonable control, including network failures, telecommunications failures, blockchain network events, third-party service interruptions, unauthorized access caused by compromised user credentials, or events of force majeure.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Privacy

Your use of Crownex Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how Crownex collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information.

By using Crownex Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the applicable Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

Crownex may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business operations, technology, legal requirements, regulatory requirements, or security practices.

Updated Terms will be published through the Crownex website or application. The updated "Last Updated" date will indicate when the Terms were most recently revised.

Your continued use of Crownex Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Where appropriate, disputes should first be submitted to Crownex customer support for an opportunity to resolve the matter informally.

Nothing in this section prevents a party from seeking remedies or reporting matters to an appropriate regulatory, judicial, or governmental authority where permitted or required by law.
